How ScribVoice handles your data
Last updated: October 26, 2026
What we collect
We collect account details, subscription information, uploaded file metadata and the transcripts needed to provide the service. We also record basic operational events such as processing status and usage minutes.
How we use it
We use this information to authenticate you, process recordings, enforce plan limits, maintain your transcript history, provide exports and respond to support requests. We do not sell your recordings or transcripts.
Recordings and retention
On the Free plan, uploaded audio is deleted 30 days after upload; the transcript remains in your account. Paid-plan audio and transcripts remain until you delete them, with Free-plan audio retention applying after a downgrade. If an account stays anonymous, its trial recording and transcript are removed 30 days after upload. A trial transcript linked to a Google account follows that account's plan retention. You can delete an individual transcript and its stored audio at any time.
Service providers
We use infrastructure and processing providers to store files, run authentication, process payments and convert recordings into text. They receive only the information needed to perform those functions.
Your choices
You can review and edit transcripts, export them, manage your subscription and contact us about account data. Do not upload recordings you are not permitted to process.
